MACHINE OPERATOR (Rotating Shifts) Recruiting for openings
The position attends the extrusion production lines, TWD rewind lines, and landscape recoil lines. The MO removes finished products from the line, collects On Line QC (OLQC) samples, process the packaging of the finished products, and stack them according to Production Work Orders (WO). During idle time, the MO will keep the working environment clean and safe following the production department’s code SAFETY, QUALITY, PRODUCTION in this order. The qualified candidate will have a High School diploma or equivalent, fluent in English; good verbal and written skills, basic math skills, basic computer literacy, must be able to lift up to 70 lbs. and work rotating shifts. This position reports to the Production Supervisor.
EXTRUSION SHIFT TECHNICIAN (ROTATING SHIFTS)
Our shift Technicians are second in command to the supervisor. Our skilled technicians are certified by Extrusion Technicians. Responsible for the technical state of all production lines during shifts. Reporting all technical problems to the shift supervisor. Coordinate with the On-Line QC (OLQC) operators of the shift. Follows startup, restart and changeovers procedures and fill out all pertaining forms. Communicates with outgoing and incoming Skilled Technicians. Constantly aware of production reports regarding scrap (quality), faults, line speeds, and coils’ weight. Our qualified candidate will have, 2 to 5 years experience in Production or Manufacturing environment or equivalent experience. The physical demand of this position requires extended periods of standing/walking in and around the production facility. Other duties as assigned. This position reports to the Production Supervisor.
PELLETIZER OPERATOR – 2 Openings (Mon-Fri 4 pm to 12:30 am / Mon-Fri 12:00 am to 8:30 am)
The Pelletizer Operator attends the extrusion of the pellet production lines. The Pelletizer Operator removes finished products from the line, collects QC samples, weatherproofs finished products, labels and moves them to the pellet receiving area. During idle time, the Pelletizer Operator will keep the working environment clean and safe. This position reports to the Material Logistics Supervisor.
RECEIVING LEAD – 1 Opening (Mon-Fri 4 pm to 12:30 am)
The Receiving Lead is responsible for coordinating the activities and scheduling of personnel in Inbound and shift operations. Helps coordinate the processing of PO’s. Coordinates workflow to accomplish daily targeted goals (i.e., receive, put away pick, pack and ship on time and accurately). Fills in and performs functional tasks daily when and where necessary. This position will assist in accomplishing overall business objectives. This position reports to the Site Lead.
CYCLE COUNTER SCHEDULE – 1 Opening (Sun-Thurs 4 pm to 12:30 pm)
The position of cycle counter processes the daily cycle counts required to maintain physical and systematic inventory accuracy. Ensures the accurate and timely cycle counts of material and bins. Maintains the accuracy between system and physical inventories. Reconciles inventory location transactions, resolves discrepancies, and submits for approval. Assists other departments in a need to basis. Assist in maintaining an inspection ready warehouse. Promotes the organizations goals and philosophies of Netafim USA.
The successful Maintenance Technician will perform PM’s on all extrusion lines in this state of the art manufacturing plant. They will develop and revise existing Maintenance procedures, and facilitate repairs for all the production lines, facility equipment, and systems as assigned. They will work with cross functional teams on production improvement projects, and will manage the spare parts inventory management system. This candidate will provide production and facility support, conducting all repairs, including infrastructure and facility equipment. The qualified candidate will have, 2+ year’s maintenance experience in Production or Manufacturing environment. The physical demand of this position requires extended periods of standing/walking in and around the production facility. This position reports to the Maintenance Manager.
PRODUCTION MATERIAL HANDLER – Recruiting for 2 Openings
The position of Production Material Handler supplies required product to and from production lines. Prepares, verifies and receives product from production plant to storage. Associates may be assigned to work in any department as necessary (appropriate training will be conducted) and perform various physical duties. This position must be able to work at a fast pace, have excellent attendance, lift up to 70lbs (using proper and safe lifting), stand and walk continuously for up to 12 hrs per day and work well with others in a team setting to deliver high performance results. Shift is on a two-week cycle. The qualified candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, and minimum 2-year material handling experience, basic math, fluent in English, and good verbal and written skills. This position reports to the Shipping Coordinator.
This candidate will have 2-3 years’ experience in a planning role; APICS certification and a BS degree in a related field is desired; knowledge of material resource planning, MS Office, and quality management systems. Responsibilities include timely planning, scheduling of replenishment and sufficient inventory levels of the products and services as assigned; manage inventory strategies with S&OP; scheduling work centers; secure analyze quotes; negotiate pricing and terms with vendors. This position reports to the Materials Manager.
