MACHINE OPERATOR (Rotating Shifts)
The position attends the extrusion production lines, TWD rewind lines, and landscape recoil lines. The MO removes finished products from the line, collects On Line QC (OLQC) samples, process the packaging of the finished products, and stack them according to production Work Orders (WO). During idle time, the MO will keep the working environment clean and safe following the production department’s code SAFETY, QUALITY, PRODUCTION in this order. The qualified candidate will have a High School diploma or equivalent, fluent in English; good verbal and written skills, basic math skills, basic computer literacy, must be able to lift up to seventy lbs. and work rotating shifts. This position reports to the Production Supervisor.
This position is responsible for fabricating, welding, and machine parts based on the requirements of Maintenance, Manufacturing, and Engineering. Machines parts using manual machining equipment (lathe, mill, etc.) to build, fabricate, and repair production equipment and parts needed. Measures, examine, and tests completed units to detect defects and ensure conformance to specifications, using precision instruments such as micrometers and calipers. Helps Engineering with feedback on their designs and drawings. Works with workshop lead, orders tooling, parts and materials needed for daily activities and controls inventory. Supports assigned projects from planning and fabrication through assembly, inspection, and testing, using knowledge of machine functions, material properties, and mathematics. Responsible for the equipment and environmental conditions in the workshop, maintaining a safe work environment. Works following assigned work orders and closes them. High school diploma or equivalent. Technical/Vocational school certificate in machinist training preferred. This position reports to the Maintenance Manager.
PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR (ROTATION SHIFT)
The Production Supervisor plans, directs, and controls the activities of a production shift under the authority of the Production Manager. The Supervisor leads rotating shifts on a 24, hour 7 day per week schedule. The Supervisor regularly directs the activities of 10 to 20 regular Netafim employees as well as a number of contract employees. The Supervisor is responsible for maintaining safety, quality, and process standards. The qualified candidate will have BS Degree in technology, business management, or equivalent degree desired environment and Minimum of five years working as a supervisor in a manufacturing. This position reports to the Production Manager.
DISTRIBUTION CENTER OPERATIONS COORDINATOR (Georgia location)
Netafim is currently looking for a Distribution Center Operations Coordinator to lead and support the day to day operations of our Central DC operations. This site leader will have operational responsibility for our Georgia location. The successful candidate will have direct/indirect responsibility for the site employees. High School diploma or equivalent experience and a Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Distribution Operations in a lead/supervisory role. Knowledge of and experience in WMS, Lean, and ISO 9001. Strong organizational skills with proven ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent analytical skills required. Experience utilizing SAP or similar ERP systems. Excellent communication skills a must. Ability to supervise, coach, mentor and perform other functions associated with leading and managing a group. Computer literacy in Word, Excel or equivalent software applications a must. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. This position reports to the Distribution Center Manager.
