The position of Quality/Returns Specialist is responsible for inspection and receiving of incoming returns. Organizes product for inspection/disposition, manages non-conforming inventory and works with management to implement Quality Process Improvement programs. The candidate will have a High School diploma or equivalent, minimum 3 years related experience, equipment certification; forklift, reach truck, order picker; and must be proficient using Microsoft Office software or equivalent applications. This position reports to the Warehouse Coordinator.
Valve & Filter Assembly Generalist
In addition to shipping and preparing product the Generalist builds and/or reconfigures products based on customer requests. The qualified candidate will have a HS diploma or equivalent and minimum 3 years of relevant experience. The candidate must be mechanically inclined and experienced in operation warehouse equipment. This position reports to the Assembly Coordinator.
Electrical/Electronics Control Engineer
The position is responsible for electrical and electronics design, installation, operation, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical and electronics related equipment including computers and PLC Programs at Netafim. Develop and manage new and existing in-house projects as well as projects involving outside vendors. Provide technical support to the maintenance, extrusion technician, and shift technician teams when needed. Routinely serve as an "On Call Engineer" to troubleshoot, repair, and/or make decisions as to how to manage breakdowns and downtimes. The qualified candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience, apprentice level electrician, certification is a plus and Citect Automation Software Certification is a plus. The ideal canddiate will have the ability to manage multiple projects, expertise in computer applications such as Excel, Word, and drafting software; may be required to lift up to 70 lbs., inside or outside work, and working on roofs. This position reports to the Engineering Manager.
This position is responsible for research planning and design of in-house machinery. Direct and coordinate activities involved in fabrication, operation, applications, installations, and repair of these devices. Provides technical support to the production line and engineering. Develop, test and evaluate theoretical designs. Discuss and solve complex problems with manufacturing departments, sub-contractors, suppliers and customers. Planning and designing new production processes, recommending modifications following prototype test results, perform duties as part of the "On Call Engineer" rotation to include making independent decisions regarding status of all equipment taking into consideration customer requirements, efficiency and quality. The qualified candidate will have a BS degee in mechanical engineering (BSME), CAD systems experience, and 2+ years experience in a manufacturing environment, and 5+ years experience leading and managing projects. This position reports to the Engineering Manager.
This position is a key role within our sales and operations planning and supply chain processes. Responsibilities include translating demand forecast information into an inventory supply plan that ensures operational and financial success for the company. Also responsible for maintaining a strong working relationship and communications directly with the Global Planning Team. Perform analysis for supply and inventory key performance indicators, variance reporting to site location and Corporate. The qualified candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business administration or other supply chain management related field. Minimum 3+ years in operational manufacturing experience emphasis on MRP, supply chain, production planning. SAP or SO99 system experience and APIC Certification highly desired. Ability to work extended schedules as needed and long periods of computer work at a desk/cubicle. This position reports to the Logisitics Manager.
Customer Service Specialist
This position is responsible for providing high levels of service to our valued customers in such a way as to foster the development of long lasting patnerships. CSR's provide professional, friendly service in a fast-paced, detail oriented environment. Provide 'Voice of Customer' feedback to the organization and develop positive working relationships cross-functionally that promote teamwork and Proactive problem solving to meet customer's product, logistics and service needs. Create and develop relationships with customers through professional and friendly phone and e-mail support. Entry and management of customer orders and returns accurately and efficently in the ERP system so that the organization is successful in meeting customer needs. Accurately convey detailed technical product and logistics information via phone and e-mail. Management of opportunities for improvement into the ERP system. Coordination and implementation of sales strategies with the Sales and Marketing Team. The qualified candidate will have a 4-year college degree or equivalent experience in a related field is desirable. 3 years previous customer service and/or industry related experience a must prior experience with irrigation or related technology is highly desirable. This position reports to the Customer Service Manager.
