This position of Assembly Coordinator accesses the demad for bagging, filter and valve items and then directs the needed resources to efficiently complete needed tasks. Coordinates the day-to-day resource requirements to complete necessary activities; the job duties also include building of valve and filters, responsible for reviewing, investigating and closure of notifications assigned to team. Trains, implements and ensures the proper use of the Netafim USA ISO 9002 Quality System within the team. Assures approved Assembly Department procedures and methods are followed. Maintains accurate physical inventory. The qualified candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, and minimum 3 years related experience. Fluent in English, good verbal and written skills and the ability to work flexible hours including overtime and stand for long periods of time. In conjuntion with the Logistics Manager, this position will participate in team member performances and development requirements. This position reports to the Logistics Manager.
Valve & Filter Assembly Generalist
In addition to shipping and preparing product the Generalist builds and/or reconfigures products based on customer requests. The qualified candidate will have a HS diploma or equivalent and minimum 3 years of relevant experience. The candidate must be mechanically inclined and experienced in operation warehouse equipment. This position reports to the Assembly Coordinator.
Machine Operator (Rotating Shifts) Recruiting for 3 openings
The position attends the extrusion production lines, TWD rewind lines, and landscape recoil lines. The MO removes finished products from the line, collects On Line QC (OLQC)samples, processes the packaging of the finished products, and stacks them according to production Work Orders (WO). During idle time, the MO will keep the working environment clean and safe following the production department's code SAFETY, QUALITY, PRODUCTION, in this order. The qualified candidate will have a High School diploma or equivalent, fluent in English; good verbal and written skills, basic math skills, basic computer literacy, must be able to lift up to 70 lbs. and work rotating shifts. This position reports to the Production Supervisor.
Shift Technician Scheduled shift, Rotating shift, Recruiting for 2 openings
The successful Shift Technicians will maintain the production lines optimal running condition, troubleshoot faults, assist machine operators, and maintain quality standards. Candidates will be responsible for the technical state of assigned production lines during their scheduled shift. Putting quality before production, the candidate will possses a strong understanding of quality assurance, processes, and procedures relating to the production of extruded products. The candidate will have two years of college and/or equivalent experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in extrusion process. Experience in Lean Manufacturing is a plus. This position reports to the Production Shift Supervisor.
Electrical/Electronics Control Engineer
The position is responsible for electrical and electronics design, installation, operation, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical and electronics related equipment including computers and PLC Programs at Netafim. Develop and manage new and existing in-house projects as well as projects involving outside vendors. Provide technical support to the maintenance, extrusion technician, and shift technician teams when needed. Routinely serve as an "On Call Engineer" to troubleshoot, repair, and/or make decisions as to how to manage breakdowns and downtimes. The qualified candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience, apprentice level electrician, certification is a plus and Citect Automation Software Certification is a plus. The ideal canddiate will have the ability to manage multiple projects, expertise in computer applications such as Excel, Word, and drafting software; may be required to lift up to 70 lbs., inside or outside work, and working on roofs. This position reports to the Engineering Manager.
This position is a key role within our sales and operations planning and supply chain processes. Responsibilities include translating demand forecast information into an inventory supply plan that ensures operational and financial success for the company. Also responsible for maintaining a strong working relationship and communications directly with the Global Planning Team. Perform analysis for supply and inventory key performance indicators, variance reporting to site location and Corporate. The qualified candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business administration or other supply chain management related field. Minimum 3+ years in operational manufacturing experience emphasis on MRP, supply chain, production planning. SAP or SO99 system experience and APIC Certification highly desired. Ability to work extended schedules as needed and long periods of computer work at a desk/cubicle. This position reports to the Logisitics Manager.
