About Techline® CV Dripperline
The next generation of dripperline - Techline CV - combines the best of Techline and adds a check valve (CV). The addition of the check valve makes this the most important breakthrough in low-volume irrigation since the introduction of the drip.

Developed for the Landscape and Turf Division, Techline CV features the proven performance you've come to expect from Techline, plus the most advanced dripperline technology available today. The dripper is designed with a check valve (CV) that turns the drippers on and off with system operation. This minimizes water loss, eliminates drainage on slopes, and most importantly, provides more precise watering. Contractors and Architects recognize the value and importance of check valves in sprinklers; now Techline CV offers them an even better choice in watering with features that are required for maximum watering efficiency. Netafim is proud to say Techline CV dripperline is the only low volume irrigation product available on the market with all the features to save water and maximize landscape appearance.
Additional technological advancements include:
- Built-in Physical Root Barrier - each dripper is designed with a built-in physical root barrier providing protection from root intrusion.
- Available with 0.26, 0.4, 0.6 and 0.9 GPH flow rates - the new 0.26 GPH flow rate performs well on clay or clay loam soil. The 0.26 GPH flow rate makes Netafim USA the only manufacturer to offer the designer the ability to perfectly match dripperline applications to soil absorption rates for maximum watering efficiency.
How Subsurface Irrigation Really Works
Netafim Techline CV has established a proven track record in every application that overhead sprinklers have been used. In fact, irrigation professionals agree that Netafim's Techline CV is more effective than sprinklers in hard-to-irrigate "problem" areas, including slopes, shrub and bedding plant areas, median strips, parking lot islands and high traffic turf areas.
Netafim Techline CV is the most efficient irrigation product in the world today because it combines the water-saving features of pressure compensating drippers, continuous self-flushing of drippers and check valves.
Pressure compensating - Check Valve
Pressure compensation ensures that all of the drippers inside the Techline CV dripperline are emitting the same amount of water. Continuous self-flushing ensures that even if some debris gets into a dripper, it is purged immediately.
The Check Valve feature adds the next level of water conservation to your irrigation system. When the zone shuts off, the drippers close themselves, thus holding the water in the tubing. This prevents the water from escaping as wasted water and ensures that the next time the zone operates, the dripperlines do not need to be refilled with water before they begin running. This feature alone can save hundreds or thousands of gallons of water annually, even on a small system.
Techline CV
Techline CV pressure-compensating drippers are fully self-contained units molded to the interior wall of the dripper tubing itself. Both the tubing and the dripper housing are manufactured from high quality polyethelene to withstand chemicals and fertilizers.
While other products can only be placed on top of the ground, Techline CV are state-of-the-art and can be buried. That means they can be used on top of the ground for gardens or buried under lawn, turf or gardens.
