Keep in mind that even with our recent rainfalls, much of the Colorado River Basin is unlikely to refill in our lifetimes. Therefore, we cannot afford to be complacent in our efforts to conserve water.

Instead of oscillating between strict conservation measures during droughts and relaxed regulations during normal periods, we must commit to an enduring and continuous conservation effort.
